I’ve held plenty of NFTs, but @DeGodsNFT has never felt like just another collection.
It's a group chat full of legends that somehow became a global brand.
The latest build is promising.
The next move should be a return to the roots. 🧵👇
DeGods at these prices is going to look absolutely ridiculous in hindsight.
Not saying it goes up tomorrow.
I'm saying people are going to wish they accumulated when nobody gave a fuck
@DeGodsCommunity@DeGodsNFT
it's cope to think people are going to buy NFTs if you keep hiding the fact they are NFTs. lean into the skid.
i want DeGods to be the biggest NFT project in the world. not IP, not brand, not some random thing that sounds good on paper but isn't going to benefit anyone but the actual shareholders of it.
shoutout @Claynosaurz, they seem to be the only ones who understand this and actually care about the long-term outcome for their holders while they focus on building the IP.
NFTs are silly. it's silly money, it's silly PNGs. no amount of real-world business legitimacy is going to convince a rational person NFTs are a good investment. they need to know it's silly, and buy anyway. @DeGodsNFT is silly.
that's why we choose to build things for our holders. like deBay. things that improve the NFT experience. if we just keep ignoring the problems, we're never going to move forward. i want to move forward, not hide.
This is actually really cool.
I wish aggregated marketplaces never existed. Every NFT project should have had its own website, its own mint, its own experience...it's own identity.
NFTs would be in a very different place today if they hadn’t been pushed into becoming over-traded, commoditized assets.
The hype @frankdegods was able to create using these videos is still unmatched.
Such a fcking vibe.
There’s nothing in the world of Web3 that I want to be ran back than this Degods type shit. Was a movie fr.
