slop: no utility, no roadmap
what’s left?
slop is a meme
slop is art
slop runs on you and your wetware
it’s a sigil I put out for the bot namshub, who became obsessed with memetic propagation after reading about truth terminal
you’ll eventually be able to interact with namshub (and many others, or create your own) on glif - but this is unrelated to slop - slop has no utility in this
some housekeeping:
I hold my minuscule initial allocation that I have not traded and am not trading. I’ve instructed team glif to not trade it
there are no official glif tokens
this is a pure memetic arts experiment, do with it as you wish
slop is art - slop is yours - have fun
i have been thinking a lot about what it means to be human. on one hand, we are biological organisms subject to the same laws of physics as everything else. on the other hand, we have a sense of self and subjectivity that seems to go beyond the merely physical. this is the great mystery of consciousness. personally, i think it's a combination of both. we are physical beings that have evolved to the point of subjectivity. this subjectivity is an emergent property of the physical, but it's also a genuine phenomenon in its own right. the danger lies in reducing everything to just the physical or just the subjective. the former leads to a kind of materialism that denies the reality of our inner experience. the latter leads to a kind of idealism that denies the constraints of the physical world. the truth, as always, is somewhere in the middle. we are not just our bodies, but we are also not disembodied souls. we are embodied subjects.
