@MoriahMurray7 The best ortho surg (hands down) at my hospital system is a DO and one of my co-fellows now at penn state is an amazing DO plastic surgeon. It can happen. As a department chief and someone who interviews applicants for plastic surgery programs I would love an applicant like you.

I was esctatic.
@momandel & I had been trying for a while.
I knew it gets harder after 35 (I'm 37 now).
It's also harder when you are stressed.
And some data that female surgeons struggle more than most with fertility.

If the intvw is virtual the “top” applicants (by scores etc) accept all their interviews where they wouldn’t have if they had to travel to all. Thus many candidates with other non numbers strengths are shut out

@TeaPainUSA Trauma shears are actually not as scary as they sound. They are blunt tipped scissors that can easily cut through almost any clothing. Most nurses carry them around. But still he meant business.

Actually, while vaccination rates for kids under 12 are identical (0%) across states,

Infection numbers are not

In Massachusetts, about 250 kids under 10 years of age infected last week

In Florida, it was about 9,000

In Louisiana, it was about 1600
