One of the biggest problems in (social media, media, and the world today) is the fact that we don't even want to listen to other people's viewpoint anymore.

Forget about healthy debates. Or thinking objectively. We start considering 'other' people's DIFFERENT opinions as pure poison.

[1] If we like party x; the social media feeds us 'pro party x' info all day.

Our belief system gets re-enforced. And, we think our thoughts > any thought.

We live in our bubble.

[2] We share that same bubble with millions of other people, who form a CULT.

And, they reenforce each other's *SAME* viewpoint.

By now, you have a social proof to the stupidity being peddled at scale.

This is what modern day brainwashing looks like.

[3] When a fraction of a population is brainwashed, you can't convince people with arguments anymore.

It is just hate spewing, trolling and justifying heinous crimes like rape & outright murder by using 'what-about-ery'

When we collectively kill human intelligence at scale. What will we be? A brain dead society.

I think the current generation is done already.

To preserve our future, I really wish that parents going forward, sensitise their kids towards social media consumption. And, being open to considering other people's different opinions.

And, teach them (literally teach them): how to THINK!

Clear pattern emerging on Indian airlines especially @airvistara & @IndiGo6E .. when they don’t have enough load on a flight, they cancel last minute with impunity & without giving any reasons and combine with an earlier or later flight and call it ‘rescheduling’ … Pls RT so @DGCAIndia takes note and saves passengers, especially senior citizens, from inconvenience & stress
