My definition of rich has changed 3 times.
At 25 it was a Honda car.
At 35 it was building a unicorn.
At 46 it is an empty Tuesday afternoon and nobody waiting for a reply.
Money could buy the first two.
The most expensive turns out to be the third one.

My dear young person,
Don’t succumb to mediocrity. There’s enough of it going around. Aspire for craftsmanship, as that is what leads to joy and beauty.
The world needs more people who’re proud of what they make, and less of those who couldn’t care less.
The fastest way to stand out is to put in more effort than everyone else.
Show up early. Use names. Do your research ahead of time. Smile when you greet people. Do more than your share. Follow up quickly.
Work ethic is the universal currency of respect. And it costs you nothing but can give you everything.
One of the best quotes I have read recently:
When times are good be grateful,
When times are bad be graceful!
- Dustin "The Diamond" Poirier
So simple, yet so profound.
Result didn’t go our way but super proud of this Indian cricket team.
Great heart and fight shown. Went down fighting till the last minute.
Sport and test cricket at its finest! 🇮🇳
Time spent with great people, doing workouts, sleeping well, consuming great content, etc always increases energy.
Learn how to manage your time.
Once you do that you’ll learn how to manage your energy.
“We do not claim to be more unselfish, more generous or more philanthropic than other people. But we think we started on sound and straightforward business principles, considering the interests of the shareholders our own, and the health and welfare of the employees, the sure foundation of our success.”
- Jamsetji Tata, Founder, Tata Group
What a brilliant read this was!
Taking a 6 AM flight. See so many people (while waiting in que) buying a coffee to take an aesthetic photo for their social media.
Of course many must want to drink it too. Interesting insight into consumer behavior.
Want to create consistently?
Spend time consuming first.
Block time for ideating next. When ideas strike note it down. The brain is not meant for remembering things, it is meant for thinking things.
Block time for creation after. If creativity doesn't strike, you do nothing in that time.
Work like there is someone working 24 hours a day to take it all away from you!
But don’t forget to enjoy your work, be happy, find time for fitness and family!
