Had a good time at the 5th Annual NIH HEAL Initiative Scientific Meeting in Washington D.C. Always such a great meeting, I love the vast diversity in the speakers backgrounds, some even from patients! Here I am presenting my work to our collaborator, Malin Ernberg!
Excited to attend and present at the keystone symposium for the meeting on Mammalian Somatosensation: Mechanisms of Itch, Touch, Pain and Interoception.
Also thankful for my Keystone Symposia Future of Science Fund Scholarship that pays up to $1,200 to pay travel related costs.
Sci Hub is a "pirate" website with 88M research papers freely available.
Using it is not advisable. We should all try to make billion-dollar acdemic publishers richer.
Here's a thread on integrating Zotero with Sci Hub to get free articles.
PLEASE DON'T DO THIS 😉
I am proud to announce I have been selected as this year's IMSD student of the year. It's been an eventful and productive year, notably, I've secured my first source of funding and gave my first plenary lecture at a conference! I am so greatful for the mentorship I've had
My first ever plenary lecture! Given at the 12th Annual GCC Translational Pain Research Conference
Thank you @GCC_Research for this wonderful opportunity
Excited to share my lab’s new paper out today @CellCellPress.
"Touch neurons underlying dopaminergic pleasurable touch and sexual receptivity"
