Aid collected by Kurds in Diyarbakir was allowed to enter Kobane — BUT Damascus demanded that it be branded as coming from the Syrian Red Crescent. They want to take credit for aid that is necessary exclusively because of the actions of the Syrian Arab Army. Despicable.
It’s been 24 hours and none of them have come up with an example of a law that grants Syrian Kurds all the same rights as Syrian Arabs have.
That’s because no such law exists in Syria — something no government partisan will ever admit.
Workers in the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) in Karajan, Armenia recently carried out a wildcat strike demanding higher wages along with health and safety precautions in a mine still operating with ‘60s-era technology.
One of the organizers of the miners' strike at the biggest mine in Armenia is being targeted by a $12 million lawsuit from the company. He's asking for international solidarity and awareness. His story below. Please read and spread the word.

Five weeks after Bashar al-Assad’s fall, the US and EU still have no policy on Syria’s transition: a seismic change which they have demanded for over a decade, and in which they have much at stake.
So far, most responses range from incoherent to wildly counterproductive. 🧵
