🚨BREAKING: Former Missouri Tiger and Kansas City Chiefs football player, Will Franklin, has been named the Head Football Coach at University City High School.

As a two-sport prep phenom at Vashon High School, Franklin, also known as "The Helicopter," won a State Championship as a member of the legendary coach Floyd Irons' basketball team.

Will Franklin served two stints as the Head Football Coach at Vashon and also worked as an assistant at the University of Missouri. Most recently, he was the Wide Receiver coach at William Jewell College. He also served as an assistant coach on 4 State Championship Basketball teams at Vashon under Tony Irons.

There will be a "Meet the Coach" night on Tuesday, June 11, at 7 pm in the U City Library to welcome Coach Franklin to the University City community.
