Yesterday, we paid tribute to the late Honorable Ssegirinya at @Parliament_Ug , followed by prayers at Mbogo Mosque in Kawempe. My heartfelt sympathies go out to his family and the people of Kawempe, as he will be laid to rest tomorrow in his ancestral home. May Allah forgive his wrongs and grant him Jannah Firdaus.

MPs from the Bugisu region want Govt to compensate residents affected by flooding instead of relocating them. They also want temporary evacuation camps set up to curb other impending floods and landslides.
