I was shocked to find that this government COULD find out how Israel is using the F35 Strike Fighters whose parts are made in the UK - it's just chosen not to. Until we suspend all arms export licences to Israel, the UK will remain complicit in the killing of civilians.
New study shows majority of people who voted to leave EU would now accept a return to free movement in exchange for access to the single market - plus similar support for a reciprocal youth mobility scheme.
So when will the government catch up? @euromove https://t.co/deHglNWsJf
@bobo222111@_Steve_Hughes_@TiceRichard Where did you find that number?
How much have other similar sized countries seen their GDPs grow in the same time?
How much more would our GDP have grown without the millstone of Brexit round our necks?
@king_daniel1997@Suffragent_ There was this whole British Empire thingy and now because Britain invaded other places with actual warships and soldiers who were killing people and stuff and then forcing people to accept being British it means that Pakistani people could come here to live.
We need the strongest laws to tackle the climate-nature crisis. We face serious opposition, but—with your help—we CAN get the #CANBill over the line. Can you please donate to Zero Hour? Every £1 will be doubled, but ONLY this week (3-10 December). https://t.co/vOhKTO4MXm
Caroline Lucas, "Brexit is going to cost us twice the amount of the £22 billion black hole - every year"
"Why is Keir Starmer being so cowardly when it comes to Brexit?"
Passengers hoping this marks the start of a great railway revival. That will need govt to go further and:
🚆 Take train leasing companies back into public ownership
💵 Invest to lower ticket prices and open new rail routes
📢 Give passengers a voice

@Anitaaaa_W@sturdyAlex I work privately in state schools everyday.
They are rarely incompetent.
They are under resourced routinely.
If you really don't want children dragged down you'd see why fair play on tax across the board in this country is essential instead you cheerlead for the privileged.
@SpainOnAPlate@terfislands@sturdyAlex You're both chatting nonsense.
No one is blaming children.
*Adding* VAT to private school fees isn't going to pay for much in the state system.
Essential functions like defence and immigration are needed too.
Not one mention of Long Covid in the Get Britain Working White Paper.
Govt still ignoring NHS staff & frontline workers, who put their lives on the line during the pandemic, now suffering with the condition.
We urgently need to recognise Long Covid as an occupational disease.
@Anitaaaa_W@sturdyAlex If private schools are so good at dealing with the needs of children with additional learning needs isn't it unfair that such skill is only deployed on the basis of who can afford it?
Even worse that these fantastic schools are hogged by parents of children who don't need them.
