After 22 years with the Albuquerque Police Department and as a small-business owner, I understand both sides of that equation. Our law enforcement officers need the resources and support to keep our communities safe, and our small businesses need an environment where they can grow, hire, and succeed.

I appreciated Speaker Mike Johnson joining us in Albuquerque and recognizing the experience I’ll bring to Congress.
