A frontier model too dangerous to release publicly, handed to a coalition including AWS, Apple, Google, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto and JPMC to find and patch zero-days in critical software before adversaries do.

Frontier models have crossed a threshold where finding novel vulnerabilities in mature codebases is now cheaper for the model than for the humans who wrote the code.

The loyalty to this team is unmatched. People pay exorbitant prices to watch them, buy their merchandise, and cheer for them despite all the Game 7 losses. We know they’re not making the playoffs this year. The season is almost over, and the losses are piling up. The one thing you expect to see is pride—someone sticking up for their captain when he’s left lying on the ice after an egregious dirty hit. It’s absolutely disgraceful that nobody did.

Nick Foligno went after Corey Perry in Game 1 of the 2021 playoffs after the Tavares hit and told Perry, “I don’t care, my captain is lying on the ice.” Kadri would step in for a teammate no matter “how it looked” if he saw they were hurt in a split second. We can go back to Colton Orr, Matt Martin, Fraser McLaren, Wade Belak, Tie Domi, Shane Corson, Darcy Tucker, Wendel Clark... What happened? We have lost the dawg DNA, and if this team is serious about winning, it needs to get it back—and fast.

Job postings for software engineers are actually seeing a massive spike.

Classic example of the Jevons paradox. When AI makes coding cheaper, companies actually may need a lot more software engineers, not fewer.

When software is cheaper to build, companies naturally want to build a lot more of it. Businesses are now putting software into industries and tools where it was simply too expensive before.
