To all Gamers!! OK https://t.co/R1TOcIQsmr is officially open! It's in beta right now but check it out. A LOT of time, sweat, and blood went into this fully custom developed monster!
Note: the first 100 users who sign up (with an avatar, profile background, and hero banner) will have ELITE status with all features open for 1 year! This will be a subscription plan very soon. The early birds definitely get the worms here! You'll also get a "Founding Gamer" badge on your profile. Once I check your profile, you'll get the status and badge upgrade.
Yes, we are new. But so was X, Youtube, Discord, and others at one time. Imagine X w/o users and content. It would just be an empty shell full of functionality. Now image the same thing + Discord and Reddit, ALL for gamers! This is what I built. There is some content (more coming)... but I build worlds. That is who I am... it's who I have alway been. Check it out and Lmk what you think. Invite your friends, build clans, chat w/ friends, create servers, plan raids, pimp your profile, change your colors & theme, upload videos, images, polls, climb rank.... it's all there and more!
Below is an example of a rendered post in the activity feed with all sample count data (I build & test this daily on my local dev box and push to production on AWS). The numbers here are what I hope it can become one day. And now... it's ready. Are you?
GTA 6’s map could be massive 👀
A new estimate suggests it may take up to 35 minutes to travel across Ocean Beach in Vice City from one end to the other.
If true, Rockstar might be building one of the biggest and most detailed open worlds ever.
I can absolutely 100% relate to this! I worked tirelessly on a project building an AI system that would increase productivity by 600%. After the project was complete at their direction, they let me and many others go. I was going to retire with this company. They lost many brilliant people that day. Developers, engineers, marketing experts, you name it.
So I did what any anyone else would do after they get laid off. I turned on my PS5 Pro, played some Crimson Desert and got inspired to continue building a revolutionary social gaming network. 🙂
I have played over 60 hours of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced and have already 100% completed the game. Here's my full review.
This review will be divided into two parts: Positives and Negatives. At the end, I'll share my final thoughts and overall score.
🟩 Positives:
🔸The biggest upgrade in this remake is the graphics. It literally feels like you're playing a movie. The attention to detail is just insane. It's like a dream come true for me.
🔸Parkour has been significantly improved. All the important parkour mechanics are available from day one. It truly feels much more fluid as you parkour through the city areas. Many locations across the map have been redesigned to support the new parkour mechanics and modern gameplay physics. Turn on the Advanced Parkour option in the settings to enjoy all of these mechanics.
🔸️The stealth system is much better than in the original game. Edward can now crouch anywhere at the press of a button, and it's a game changer. There are now more ways to create stealth opportunities thanks to the new environment design.
🔸️ Sailing across the massive and beautiful Caribbean is now significantly smoother thanks to two brilliant new mechanics: Pathfinder and Follow Sea. There are also no loading screens when traveling between different cities.
🔸️This is now the best naval combat game ever made, thanks to its new secondary weapon types and the unique perks provided by the new officers. I recommend upgrading your ship whenever you have enough money. Some battles can feel quite challenging if your ship isn't properly upgraded.
🔸️Ground combat is also great. It includes a variety of cool moves and finisher takedowns. But you have to be strategic and watch every enemy movement. At first you'll need to spend some time mastering it because enemy attacks are very fast even on the lowest difficulty. Once you master it, the combat feels amazing.
🔸️ Photo Mode is a great addition. I missed it so much in the original game. There are so many beautiful locations across the map to capture stunning shots. It doesn't have as many features as Shadows but at least we finally have a Photo Mode and that's a big W.
🔸️You can now change the time of day, which is really helpful for Photo Mode, recording clips, and stealth gameplay.
🔸️ New Animus Rift missions are a lot better than those in Shadows.
🔸️ You can now dive underwater at any time.
🔸The new side quests are really good. I enjoyed them a lot.
🔸New dynamic weather system makes the game more realistic than ever.
🔸I played on PC and the game is buttery smooth. There is no lag, no game breaking bugs, or anything like that.
🟥 Negatives:
🔸️ No Hidden Blade combat at launch
🔸️ Unarmed combat is limited to tavern fights
🔸️ The enemy AI needs to be improved
🔸️ Cutscenes in some side quests are not that good
🔸️ No replayable missions
🔸️ Some small bugs need to be fixed soon
I think Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced could be a hugely successful release for Ubisoft after so many years. It could even give them a chance to make an amazing comeback. This time, they focused on quality over quantity and I think that should be their main goal for future games.
🟢 I'm giving Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced a solid 9 out of 10.
Huge thanks to @Ubisoft & @assassinscreed Team for the early review code.
@AlexTownley227@BlueThunderReal No, not new to gaming at all. I think I was a little out of it when I posted that. Lol But I am noticing how some people who do not seem to be affiliated with being a journalist or YouTube or an influencer, but they still have access to play the game early.
@TheGameVerse Well, hell I gotta choose a red dead since I don’t know what GTA 6 is gonna be like until I play it. Something tells me once I do I may be swayed the other way.
