I haven’t felt better. Social media really does suck out a lot of good energy. The constant bombardment of notifications of tweets, videos, posts etc can overload your brain. I’m glad I focused on being present in my conversations with people in real life and enjoyed every moment I was in. We are in the age of being connected but at what cost? We’re slowly being disconnected from who we really are and I cannot let that happen to me.

At the TNRCS Assistant Minister Kiran was the real trooper and I admired her for this. She shared her respect and appreciation for the Vanua and went on to seek forgiveness for the intended/unintended harm and disrespect that she as an indo-fijian has caused to the Vanua and to the indigenous people of Fiji. I think that shows genuine desire for us to say that we have done wrong too. I join her sentiments.
