We, as Educators and as Parents, teach by example. We already have posters plastered all around the school halls. Imposing One’s beliefs by mandating the display of The Ten Commandments won’t make our literacy level rise, or our crime level fall. #ChristianEducators
Powerful storm surge is pushing water over the dunes and toward nearby parking lots. Meteorologist @JimCantore captures the moment as waves push further inland:
Okaloosa County, Florida: catastrophic flash flooding right now in Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Niceville, Eglin AFB. 4 to 7 inches already down, 3 to 5 more possible this hour, get out of low spots immediately. I'm live: https://t.co/1fGkwhDgvQ

Look at how far inland the TS winds go. I would move the likely power outages a lot farther north into Atlanta and Birmingham at the least. #notjustacoastalstorm
#isaias is stronger, bigger, faster. Max winds 110 mph. Moving NNE 15 mph. Hurricane force winds extend out 30 miles from center, tropical force 185 miles. Landfall shifted little east. Near P-cola/Navarre. Wind shear will impact close to landfall.
Three planes flew through the middle of Hurricane Isaias overnight. The pressure dropped from 973 to 962 in five hours while they were in there. Lower means stronger, and it's now 1 mph short of a Category 3.
Google's AI model ran Isaias 1,000 times overnight. 642 of those runs make it a major hurricane over the Gulf.
The official forecast peaks at 110 mph, one mph short of a major hurricane.
Each dot is one run, and the pink ones are major hurricanes at that moment. Most of them reach the coast late Friday night, about 9 out of 10 on the Florida Panhandle.
Morning zoomies are hysterical. 9am low-upper 70s. Breezy. Wind NE 5-21 mph. Humid. Windy offshore. Small craft adv. Gates closing by lake with storm in Gulf. Monitor forecast. Right now Landfall Fri night-pos near Mobile. Highs mid-upper 80s. #nola#lawx

That’s it ❤️
My Big was eating treats until the very end and on massively powerful pain meds. He slipped away happy and with his dignity and love.
Tumors were growing into his nerves and his heart had enlarged.
He was a very very good boy ❤️
While filming Jumanji: The Next Level (2019), Jack Black took one simple line and turned it into a completely over-the-top performance. He committed so intensely to the delivery that Karen Gillan couldn’t keep a straight face, instantly making the moment even funnier than intended.
The best part came right afterward, when even Jack seemed to wonder if he had gone a little too far. His immediate reaction, combined with everyone around him struggling not to laugh, made the whole exchange feel completely spontaneous.
It’s moments like this that show what great comedic chemistry can do. A script provides the dialogue, but the right timing, delivery, and total commitment can turn an ordinary line into an unforgettable behind-the-scenes moment.
As a kid, I loved Charles Addams’s wonderfully twisted cartoons in The New Yorker. I never could have imagined that years later I’d be asked to step into that world myself as Uncle Fester.
You can imagine my ghoulish delight. It felt like a dream.
