We could not agree more with this sentiment. Having a good understanding of the foundational subjects at school is so important before we can move onto things like Robotics and AI.

So this robotics thing for Grades R to 3. It's a distraction and we should not stand for it. We know how bar our math and reading is. Why are we not working more on fixing this. You can't do AI, ML Robotics etc. Without strong math. This is from someone who would love .....

@joshilewis @forgoodSA @joshilewis no we haven’t been able to, the last time we tried to register, I think we needed our NPO certificate to upload and we haven’t been able to get the actual certificate from the department as yet ( i.e. for two years now), so we only have the NPO number.
