Every finalist at the 2026 Eskom Expo for Young Scientists International Science Fair began their journey long before arriving in Boksburg.

The journey started with developing a research idea, preparing a research plan and presenting their work at a District Expo, where learners received valuable feedback.

Successful participants progressed to Regional Science Fairs, where judges evaluated their research further and selected outstanding projects for the international stage.

Along the way came challenges, improvements, learning opportunities and countless hours of hard work.

The ISF celebrated that journey, but the real achievement was the dedication shown every step of the way.
