@FreshwaterIzzy@uclbiosciences@UNEP@UN_WWQA@Earthwatch_Eur This is such important work! Speaking at the newly formed Canada Water Agency next week and they need to read this! The fact that community science is part of that conversation is pretty great :)
I’m really proud to share this new policy brief (and associated technical brief) explaining how and why all water resource management authorities should embrace citizen science. https://t.co/2ATwPj9JKB Please share widely! @uclbiosciences@UNEP@UN_WWQA@Earthwatch_Eur

We saw kids swimming in Ashiya River (芦屋川) in Ashiya, Japan the other day. So we tested the water quality using @water_rangers test kits. All data looks fantastic!
Make sure you sign up for the #GreatUKWaterBlitz in September! Free water quality testing kits, anyone can take part. You can also donate to help supply water testing kits for others at the same link. This has the potential to be HUGE for UK rivers! https://t.co/7lC8pMzY1v
What a day. Sun, hail, rain, wind and lots of amazing volunteers. 11 sites sampled, and a target area identified for follow up visits from our conservation team. #citizenscience in action 💪
On Saturday, our ED @Kassy4 got together with
@ribbletrust for a World Water Day water quality blitz!
Here's Jim with his son, taking a conductivity reading as the team collected samples for chemistry, invertebrates (@Riverflies), e.coli and eDNA.
