@UnfetteredMuse Running it multiple times is a trip too, it’s amazing how differently some PCs / Players react to Barovia compared to others. I love that adventure so much.
You know what I didn't like? I didn't like the attitude that folks who loved D&D were like...childish. I loved the variety of games! I played most of them!
Worst thing you can do is make the community feel bad for the game they like. Or make them feel like they have to "choose."
Damn it, I just want to to keep playing the game I like without the internet crowing that they have been telling those foolish 5e plebeians to use different games all along.
I’ll stop buying new WOTC, but the smugness here makes me want to avoid some systems out of principle.
@nhannahjones The farmer who runs the sawmill I go to for lumber here in eastern Iowa went on vacation with his wife. He told me he would just leave the shed unlocked and we could write up our tickets and leave the cash on his desk, or mail him a check. It’s just a different place sometimes.
@TylerWalpole If they player wants it/there is a thematic or story reason/it would scar in a cool way, then yeah. But otherwise some PCs would be built entirely of scar tissue.
@SchoolOfMovies@DavidKHarbour My husband and I went to this last week and we walked out immediately saying “I want to watch this every year. It’s perfect.”
While I respect your military service and sacrifice to our nation, you do not have a pass to mislead the public. As a re-elected member of congress, you know that office moves are solely handled by the Architect of the Capitol (AOC). You know I had nothing to do with this.
Before the next election, you might want to find a better way to poll anyone under the age of 30 since they would rather pick up a pinless grenade than a call from an unknown number.
@matthewmercer Matt, you are the best. I have had a blast shoehorning parts of Call of the Netherdeep into my campaign and am so excited to run the Heart of Despair this weekend.
But black eyes on white skin?! I mean it will look great eventually but it hurts me right now.
@boonejbruce Yeah! That’s the only 5e variant covers I don’t own, that would complete my collection! and they are so expensive everywhere else I figured I would never be able to rationalize the purchase, but I can make this work!
“Pathfinder 2e did it first” and “Windows has had that forever” have the same energy and it’s exhausting in both cases.
Cool? Glad they did. Doesn’t mean I will sell my Mac or my dnd books.
