Me: She has Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS). Let me guess… she had some type of vaccine about two weeks ago.

Attending Doc: Lemme check… Yah, Dr Thorp she had a flu vaccine two weeks ago.

Me: this is very serious and with her rapidly rising weakness & difficulty swallowing you best get her in the ICU as she will likely need to be intubated and on a respirator. Do you inform your patients about risks & benefits of vaccines in pregnancy?

Did u realize she may die from this?

Did u realize you gave a flu vaccine and recent studies show it increases the risk of the disease it is supposed to prevent?

Do you realize she’s only 14 weeks pregnant and could be on a ventilator for the rest of her pregnancy?

Do you realize there’s a massive safety signal in FDA/CDC VAERS system for flu vaccines & GBS? As of today there are 3,119 cases of GBS reported after a flu vaccine. With a reporting of only 1% of all cases, there are probably well over 300,000 cases of GBS associated with flu vaccines.

And it gets worse… GBS is only one of MANY complications from the flu vaccines.

Do you know there are ZERO prospective studies on vaccines in pregnancy that have long term follow up?
