May we have the courage to release the crumbling present so we can make room for a new beginning.
May we free our minds enough to work towards that which we have never seen.
May we realize that the change we need is within our reach. 🦋 — @drthema
When you’ve spent so much time confined, restricted, and frozen, dance, itself, makes your body a site of liberation.
Reclaim your body and your movement.
6million women, children & men have been killed in Congo over the span of 25 years. 6 million. That’s 240,000 a year, 20,000 a month, 5000 a week, 714 a day. Half of these numbers have been children. All so that the west can make phones, tablets, electric cars, planes for cheap.
May you have the safety and courage to be all that you are - undiluted and unfiltered.
So many years spent shrinking, conforming, and censoring
Claim this season as your jubilee.
@UberUKsupport I ordered a meal from Uber eats on Wednesday, and despite leaving the driver a big tip, waiting for my non contactless order, and trying to phone him, my food did not arrive. When I contacted your support team I was lied to and told I would get no help. So angry

"It is not the job of black people & ethnic minorities to educate white people on racism perpetuated by white people. White folks need to educate themselves on #racism."

This is heartbreaking. A specialist who has dedicated his life to the NHS is reduced to tears because of racist abuse he has faced. This country is a shambles. We’ve pandered to racists for so long, why should any of us want to stay?
