With a 4 year old, time alone is a rarity at the moment so taking the dogs for a walk before my work day starts I find refreshing (aside from when the dogs insist on sniffing EVERY blade of grass). The photo doesn't do justice to the autumnal colours I encounter on my walks

This week I was involved in a wānanga at massey uni in auckland for the Pūhoro stem academy. Such a great day, so many engaged students and such a great program to encourage more maori students down the STEM pathways

Something I heard in NZ media 2 days ago that i keep coming back to in my mind..Why is it that we inforce such tight restrictions (which I agree with) around fireworks and ban skyrockets yet there is so little regulation around firearms? So many changes to regulations reqd!
