@xanbarksdale if they are timed games and they aren't playing more than 2-3 innings, then no problem. Over the course of 2 days they may catch the equivalent of 1.5 games? Maybe 2 at the most. So in general, no problem with it...but there are always exceptions

@xanbarksdale Honestly just the fielding fundamentals. So many kids (and unfortunately too many “select” coaches) don’t focus on them because they are “boring”, when in reality the solid fundamentals are the reason why those ESPN top 10 plays happen

Had one of my catchers (who has been playing less recently, still solid performances) go to her coaches last night to ask what she needed to do to earn more catching time. This was hard for her and a huge fear to overcome (13yo). Very proud of her. He told
