@Jamie_langley1 I don’t think that’s best, I believe they run far enough at the age groups. I don’t think we should be encouraging younger ages to run further. They have plenty time to do that as a senior. And more likely to make a senior that way.

I am at a loss as to why it has to change at all. The poor juniors then to go from 4km to 10km at Liverpool is just ridiculous. 8km is hard enough.

1/2 XC equalisation debate: there appear to be 3 options for equalisation:

1) women’s distances stay the same; men’s distances fall into line w them.

2) men’s distances stay the same; women’s distances fall into line w them.

3) a middle ground.
