@Peston Why or rather how does Farage et al. get so much media attention? Also, why are they not called out on the absolute crap they spout? I honestly can't think of a single decent journalist these days π
@JNK913@Angelcalling5 Can you explain to me why an oil producing nation has debt in the first place? Looking at other oil producing nations, they all appear to be in the black π€·πΌββοΈ
@TPayne78439@DerekWatson4@KirstySNP To be eligible to claim benefits, you must have a national insurance number, satisfy the right to reside AND the habitual residence test. Please explain how ILLEGAL migrant can do this?
@Calamity_clr@StephenFlynnSNP So, how did you feel when the territorial maritime borders werw moved and allocated more of the North Sea area to England - which included more oil fields?
@RupertLowe10 Illegal immigrants aren't eligible for Universal Credit so can you co firm what you mean by your statement please? I fear I might be missing something after working in benefits for 24 years π
@doonhamer2009@CHACHIECOCO @Mo_ChridheBeag @agcolehamilton@jackiebmsp What do you think about having to pay for your healthcare? Do you think there would be an increase in GP numbers and better service? Could you afford private healthcare? Not looking for an argument, just genuinely interested in what people think about losing the NHS
@SamanthaTaghoy I wonder what the figures would be if the legal costs were included, which they specifically said they hadn't π€ Also are the figures higher because they actually declare more? Think I'd like to see more of the info they used to create this report
@2351onthelist@AgentP22@apereceived@LenziePar ?? So you think that's good enough? You've just confirmed that the Scottish Government CANNOT legislate to remove it π€¦πΌββοΈ
@brokenruk @Stephen34167367@LewisMcKenzie94 Some errors in that article. DWP is department dor WORK and pensions not welfare. Also Child Benefit is not universal and is dependent on household income π€·πΌββοΈ
@AgentP22@apereceived@LenziePar I've worked in benefits now in Sootland for 23 years and I've yet to come across the legislation where ScotGov can lift the cap. This cap is applied to all the benefits which are reserved to Westminster. I'd be really grateful if you could give me a note of these regulations ππ»
@GrantMitchell00@Balr0g@JonathanPieNews Where exactly do you get your figures from? Just wondering as Scotland has to balance its books every year. Also wondering where you get your information about what the First Minister of Scotland is up to given MSM only reports on a fraction of what Scottish ministers do π€
@indumbpendence@JoyJoyjones271@wick1960@jessphillips I get what you are saying Christopher but leaving aside the speaker issue, why couldn't Labour table a motion on their own opposition day and why haven't they asked for or supported a motion for a ceasefire in Gaza before now?
