@AbdulBostani2 Well done that man

[Cllr Abdul Bostani 🧡 @AbdulBostani2]

As the local councillor for Maryhill, I was out in my ward this morning responding to damage and disruption caused by the stormy weather.

I personally cleared more than 30 drains and reopened three roads to traffic:

📍 Kelvindale Road
📍 Shuskin Drive
📍 Arrochar Road, in front of John Paul Academy

I also removed fallen trees and branches from pavements and roads to help keep routes clear for residents.

I am also aware of flooding at the end of Maryhill Road, which has made it almost impassable. This has been reported, and I hope it will be addressed as soon as possible.

Please take care, check conditions before travelling, and follow official advice throughout the weekend. Stay safe and look out for one another.

@drmcopeman @graemearcher You see Scotland, Wales & NI as subjugated vassals of England.
Why can't England leave us alone?

[Rev Ayatoly Ally🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @LenziePar]

@CMc_TheMajority @graemearcher @sunshineonleith Independence is responsibility.

[Rev Ayatoly Ally🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @LenziePar]

@graemearcher Did that state education teach you to grow up a subjugated feudal vassal?
Depressing lack of national dignity, respect and duty.

@indy_swim @ConnorGillies Why didn't Swinney tell me there would be a full moon spring tide exactly the same time as a double storm?

[Rev Ayatoly Ally🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @LenziePar]

@calummiller England depends on the daftness of its neighbours

[Rev Ayatoly Ally🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @LenziePar]

@JamesMelville Shit....back in a little while.

[Rev Ayatoly Ally🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @LenziePar]

@volcaholic1 The government warned everyone to stock up for 3 days, but couldn't warn west coast towns there would be full moon spring tides at the exact same time as a double storm.
