Very disappointed that plans for the cafe building on the Fields have been shelved. New designs for lavatories, park keeper’s office and space for a fixed or mobile food & drink offer will be drawn up - work due to start Sept 2026. Demolition of existing buildings due Feb 2026.

Hi ⁦@IslingtonBC⁩ - please could this important safety barrier by the zebra crossing on Highbury Grove be replaced asap? It was removed by contractors delivering a new toilet to Highbury Fields. They also hit the lamppost which has lifted the pavement and will need fixing.

Bus routes 4 and 19 on diversion via Holloway Road and Seven Sisters Road due to closure of one lane of St Paul’s Road from Highbury Corner. Bus 263 also affected. No buses from Highbury Corner towards Highbury Grove/Blackstock Road.
