Strengthening communities here and abroad is a passion. Also, scoring baseball games, voluntarism, the great outdoors. Views = own. Going 1-0 every day.
@ZionsCampfire This sounds like a relative. Thought it was a heart attack. It took a few times to the ER until they asked about diet and it was linked to caffeine -- further confirmed an allergy. They never drank coffee until they had an office job.
@DelReid I had Beef on Weck with Anderson's ice cream (no cake). They said it was their first wedding, and they hoped to do more. Glad that is the case! The hors d'oeuvre were antipastas and wings.
@charlesallen Hi @charlesallen@amazon -- there have been many times that Amazon e-cargo vehicles have been parked in the bike lane on I (eye) Street, SE in Navy Yard for over 10 minutes now. Plenty of legal parking and options around it. Who can we inform with the pilot program?
@FriarNickLocked That's why I consult "YouTubeMD" and see how hikers and runners deal with it. Despite many blisters - some incredible ones - and successful treatment with each, I seem to check YouTube when one pops up. Also, yes, I need to keep walking - how else would I get to Santiago!
@russhjelm@CapitolPolice There are different security measures and security officers in different areas in DC. The Capitol grounds are not the same as the National Mall; that's why there are different rules as the Capitol Police are managing this event (and not the event on the Mall).
@wmata & those unfamiliar with Washington, DC (the quadrants too - is it an entrance in SW or NE?).
This became over a mile walk.
Please update your website and share on the socials re entrances are/closest @wmata station.
Let's help visitors to our fair city find the fair! 3/3
Hi @Freedom250 the website for last night's event had incorrect info; states the entrance is @ 13 St SW. Map shows Capitol bldg grounds (not Mall). Clicking link showed 16th & Independence Ave SW. At 14 we were directed to 7 & Madison NW via Constitution Ave. 1/
That makes a difference with trip planning and people finding the site. The closest @WMATA is Archives (and not Smithsonian - hordes of people there had no idea where to go. No signs/people to assist.) This makes it a concern for accessibility, mobility, families w/ children 2/
