Albo is speaking to save his own political skin, no acknowledgement of the huge pain inflicted on Black communities through this referendum
His government is still running NT Intervention policies, hasn’t done a thing to demonstrate seriousness about any real change

It seems so unreal, that the Govt is placing 10 year old children in facilities which amount to torture under international law. This is not the solution. Close child prisons.
Thought my son was pretending to be sick to get out of school so I took him for breakfast croissants at a fancy patisserie and he vomited next to an elderly couple at the cafe. I AM DELIGHTED TO ACCEPT THIS AWARD FOR MOTHER OF THE YEAR!
@binarythis I've seen so many sibling relationships disintegrate into vitriolic hatred after the death of parents. Squabbling over wills etc. I have 1, would've loved to have 2 but can't for various reasons. No guarantee of good will/companionship through life. Have more for you, not them
@robgioielli Housing is terrible in Australia too. Renters have no rights, interest rates insane, most people priced out of the market to buy. Great podcast on how neoliberalism has buggered up how we think of houses, e.g. as investment instead of site of care
