@WDBJ7 has your look at what today’s winter storm looked like in Wythe County around 5am. By then the snow had pretty much stopped but ice and wind are still impacting streets and feel like temperatures.

The building itself is a total loss and has been deemed structurally unsound. No one is allowed in at this time.

We’re calling this a fury of flurries as Wythe Co. (west of Wythville) is getting more than the big, fluffy flakes we saw in Galax. It’s wet, heavy, sticking to the roads. The tires are dragging a bit as encounter more of that sludgy kind of snow. Stay weather aware! @WDBJ7
