@trishgreenhalgh That is utterly rubbish. My mum had a cartilage tear and T&O were great, once we got past “how far can you walk without stopping” answer “a trail half marathon” aged 80. How do we make this better???

@DrSelvarajah Ignore the crap. I didn’t pay tuition fees, few loans required and worked throughout med school (lifeguard, HCA and waitress) I have zero idea how I’d have a roof over my family’s head if I’d had to pay tuition fees

These are the generation of women who’ve suffered the worst of expectation from patriarchy and lots are really happy to call me Kath or Dr Kath. As long as we care well, I don’t care what I’m called

@Liz_ORiordan @itvnews Agree, I see so many people living with cancer/dementia/heart failure who make a considered brave decision to stop treatment that is not working or causing intolerable burden who feel guilty they’re not “fighting it all the way” so wrong

@PeteDeveson Can’t, I can just about manage meaningful discussion about issues with my teens. Just start at home and if we all do that it will be okay. Small steps, educate kids (if you know any) Call out inequality. Make your workplace a place of respect for everyone
