9 Tips for those who start coding:

1. Go to W3Schools, Freecodecamp or MDN to learn the fundamentals.

2. If you prefer videos, go to YouTube and search for videos on the topic.

3. Always learn the basics before you move to other technologies.
You can't learn ReactJS or VueJs if you're unfamiliar with Javascript.

4. Join communities online on X, Discord, Reddit, or related forums.

5. If watching tutorials, code along. It's much better than just watching them.

6. Practice. Come up with your projects. It doesn't matter if they're too simple at the start.

You will improve over time, your project complexity will improve, and your code will get better and cleaner.

7. Ask for help. There is nothing wrong with asking for help. It's better than spending hours solving the issue/bug.

Also, ask for clarification if you don't understand how the problem was fixed.

8. Take notes. It will help you remember things because you take action twice this way.

9. Utilize AI like ChatGPT or Claude.

Try which one works better for you. In some cases, I got much better results from Claude.

Do not just generate the code. Try to understand it. If you don't understand, ask AI to explain it to you.

Remember that almost everybody utilizes AI for coding, and you don't want to fall behind.

GitHub recently reported that JavaScript is again the world’s most popular programming language. To support web developers exploring and developing with generative AI, we just launched a new short course in JavaScript taught by @Hacubu, founding engineer at @langchain. In ​​Build LLM Apps with LangChain.js you’ll learn elements common in AI development, including:

(i) Using data loaders to pull data from common sources such as PDFs, websites, and databases
(ii) Prompts, which are used to provide the LLM context
(iii) Modules to support RAG such as text splitters and integrations with vector stores
(iv) Working with different models to write applications that are not vendor-specific
(v) Parsers, which extract and format the output for your downstream code to process

You’ll also build with the LangChain Expression Language, which lets you easily compose sequences (also called chains) of modules to perform complex tasks using LLMs.

Putting all this together, you’ll also work on a conversational question-answering LLM application capable of using external data as context.
