1/2 Here’s the final MesoRunner’s number. Colin, Willie’s g’daughters husband is running the half. Showing off daddy’s number is Imogen, Willie’s 1st great grandchild and will be 10 wks old on Sunday!! Mum, Lucille will be running the ‘Glory Leg’ for one of the relay teams!!..

..2/2 Willie was determined to fight mesothelioma long enough to meet Imogen but it didn’t happen. There is no doubt that if it wasn’t for asbestos he would have met her and THAT is why we run.

Here’s Freddie’s number for the 5k of #emf18 Freddie is the youngest of the MesoRunners, the 11th of Willie’s 14 grandchildren and will be travelling from London to take part. I don’t think he’s running up from London but I wouldn’t put it past him!!!

Kathryn (aka Kitty @kittydickx ) is another of Willie’s granddaughters and has developed the knack of managing half marathons with the minimum amount of training 🙄she’s also well known for entering the wrong marathon last year so ending up running 2 of them within a week!!🙄🙄😊

Another full marathon runner @cleverclauds Claudia, partner of one of Willie’s grandsons is going for the full set of @MrHairyHaggis medals. In consecutive years she has 5k, 10k, Relay, Half and now going for her first full marathon. Mia the cat is certainly impressed!!

Next up is Stewart, family friend of the Vidlers for a considerable number of years. Stewart will be in the full #EMF2018 marathon and is no stranger to distance running so we will be expecting him to finish early & get in the drinks for the rest of the runners!!
