House Republicans: "If you take out a loan, you pay it back."
Meanwhile: 13 House Republicans took out over $15 million in PPP loans that were totally forgiven by the federal government.
House Republicans: If you take out a loan, you pay it back.
Next time someone tells you that America isn’t a racist country, just remind them that this nation is willing to accept treason from a white president but not healthcare from a Black one.
If SoFI, a student loan refinancing company, could give its CEO a 92% raise last year paying him a grand total of $103 million in compensation and spend $625 million to put its name on the LA Rams football stadium, you know what President Biden can do? Cancel all student debt.
11. The vision MBS has shared with the world of an open Saudi Arabia, a place where tourists can come visit, and where women can be free is just a facade.
Salma al-Shehab must be released immediately!
Please join me in spreading the word!

10. Why would anyone want to visit Saudi Arabia as a tourist when a woman is sentenced to 34 years in prison for simply using Twitter to advocate for women's rights?
@SaudiTourism @VisitSaudiNOW
9. MBS has opened up Saudi Arabia to tourists and has made a significant, global PR push to encourage tourism.
Celebrities have taken big checks from the Saudi government to promote Saudi Arabia as a reformed and open country.
8. MBS has aggressively promoted the reforms he’s initiated in Saudi Arabia, especially on women’s rights.
But his reforms are all a show and ultimately mean little because while he’s allowing women to drive now, he’s still silencing women who dare to speak out.
7. MBS is using Salma as one of his examples to scare others into silence.
Here is a tweet and RT from Salma's account.
Left: Salma’s tweet on women’s rights.
Right: Salma’s RT in support of women’s rights activist Loujain al-Hathloul.
This is what has landed her in prison.
6. On August 8, Salma’s sentence was increased to 34 years.
The Saudi Court (in reality, MBS) said she was helping to disturb public order by elevating Twitter accounts of women’s rights activists, specifically by “following accounts on social media and retweeting them.”
5. All Salma is accused of doing is retweeting and tweeting.
The topic of her tweets and retweets?
Women's rights. That's it.
But to a megalomaniac like MBS, any criticism is considered terrorism and a threat to his power.
4. In March of this year, after being held in a Saudi jail for over 280 days, Salma was sentenced to six years in prison for “supporting terrorism, disrupting order, and the disturbance of public security.”
