Why hasn’t the Australian government funded comprehensive guidelines for the treatment of COVID-19? Many experts would have offered to provide their recommendations free of charge, raising concerns about potential conflicts of interest.
The COVID-19 Taskforce included experts who hadn't treated the virus firsthand. They notably did not endorse early treatment options and advised against the use of Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Zinc, ivermectin, and hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), yet made a "weak" recommendation for Remdesivir.
Could the Taskforce have been biased in their recommendations? The resulting guidelines appeared inadequate, potentially leading to preventable deaths and denying patients access to treatments like ivermectin.
Congratulations to NCNED researcher Ms Etianne Martini Sasso who submitted her PhD Thesis yesterday! 🎉🎉
Etianne’s Thesis examined TRPM3 ion channel function in the pathogenesis of #MECFS, #LongCOVID and #GulfWarIllness and Naltrexone as a potential treatment.

@elisaperego78@VioletaQSmith@BhupeshPrusty I have found out that Long Covid research at Edith Cowan University, Joondalup in Perth, where l live, will commence. They are recruiting now (16 to 65 age group). I think this is great and should create greater awareness.
