UPDATE: Following Tuesday 05 April, 2026 Sadiku-led JAS (Boko Haram) attack in Bagna & Erena communities in Shiroro LGA, Niger State. The community has now recovered over 70 bodies, while the death toll is rising as of this evening.

According to local sources, the people killed include civilians and vigilantes. Although the attack was later repelled by security forces, the bodies were found in the forest after they were abducted by Sadiku-led JAS group.
