Are you conflicted about whether you should celebrate Thanksgiving? Maybe it’s not whether you ”should” celebrate, but “how” you celebrate. Listen to the @DareWeSay podcast to hear from Crystal Echo Hawk about what you can do to shift the false narrative.

To be clear, there’s no such thing as:
Spirit animals
A “Native American shaman”
Cherokee princesses
Gov’t checks just for being Native
Free tuition, everywhere, anywhere
High cheekbones as proof
And the list keeps going ...
My life experiences give me hope for the future. If an Indigenous woman from humble beginnings can be confirmed as Secretary of the @Interior, our country and its promise still holds true for everyone.
Indigenous peoples have always honored women as leaders & viewed gender as fluid & multi-faceted. Since it's #WomensHistoryMonth we’re amplifying & uplifting our women, femme, trans & 2spirit relatives. We must ID patriarchal systems to dismantle them. Art by @youngmerart

The Interior Department manages our public lands to make sure we protect them, honor them, & preserve them for future generations.
This was all Indigenous land, once — so it's ironic that we've never had a Native American Interior Secretary.
I would be honored to be the first.
BREAKING: Joe Biden has chosen Rep. Deb Haaland to head the Interior Department, The Washington Post reports. Haaland, who is from the Pueblos of Laguna and Jemez, would make history as the first Native American to serve as a Cabinet secretary.
@ShabbirSafdar Yes! Native Vote mobilization was unprecedented, especially in AZ thanks to @_IllumiNatives @NativeOrganizer @FirstPeoplesWW So grateful for their efforts. We are small but mighty!

This @NikeN7 AF1 references traditional tones & a @PendletonWM pattern. The AF1 pays homage to Native American & Aboriginal communities. The N7 Fund supports local organizations to bring play and sport to youth in these communities. https://t.co/nCFSkyhwTZ
