Gardner makes a good comparison between app dependent and app enabled. When someone is app dependent, they almost always need it to do something. App enabled is when you use it once in awhile.

One of this week's readings was really shocking to think about how apps can know where we are 24/7. They know your location and can ask to track. Some apps don't even ask for permission. Creepy!!

A point was made in the documentary with how social media uses psychology against us and can be manipulating. The constant notifications and need for fulfillment is a form of manipulation through social media sites. I have fallen guilty of this. #eme4390S22

The Internet is extremely powerful. In the article, the author writes about how people in Finland used the Internet as a source to encourage others to vote for gender-neutral marriage. The Internet is a great source in aspects like those.
