Thankful for a personalized PD day to learn new things from my favorite people. ๐
I took home some new boxing skills, engagement strategies, card tricks, and new ideas for low prep math games! ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐โ๏ธ
This class had a BLAST talking about outer space! I think they couldโve talked for hours. I canโt wait to see their all about space writing pieces! ๐ช๐ฐ๏ธ๐๐
โMrs. Miller I feel calmโ is the quote I want to remember from today.
These kids loved doing 100th day themed centers, celebrating growth and talking about our favorite moments from the year so far. I ๐ my little classroom family.
I promised donuts if everyone worked hard and showed growth on their MAP test. ๐ง These kids pulled through and so did Kellyโs Bakery with the @Bengals donuts.๐งก๐ฉ๐
These kids blew me away with how quickly they got back into the swing of things this morning! We celebrated our hard work with a quick game of ultimate ๐ชจ๐โ๏ธ before lunch. They were each otherโs cheerleaders after they got out and all took the job very seriously. โฅ๏ธ
These first graders LOVED making gingerbread houses during our party today! ๐
Their families were extremely supportive and sent in LOTS of candy so they went home sweeter than ever. ๐ญ
Snapped a picture while shopping for adopt-a-family tonight with two funny, and thoughtful student council members.
I got out of my comfort zone (being with first graders ๐) and had so much fun.
My favorite quote โMrs. Miller let me put you on to somethingโ
Fun Fact: our classroom is 425 cubes long.
My kids worked together to measure the length of our room during indoor recess so I helped them figure out the total number of cubes. We made groups of tens, counted them, then added up the hundreds and counted the leftover ones.
