.@ScotRail my 2 yr old let go of hand and ran through barrier yest. In panic I tried to tap my smartcard but it wouldn't work. Member of staff REFUSED to let me through as my ticket wasn't "valid" (It was) as my 2 yr old was disappearing out of sight. Had to beg to beg

@ScotRail Wow. Shocking response but can't expect much more from Scotrail. She was right there. She saw it all. She saw my daughter run to the exit. Obviously this matter won't be taken seriously.

I was visibly upset and she showed no care for safety or any sort of compassion. Clearly money is more important than safety. How do I make an official complaint so this is looked at properly??

My daughter was almost at the door next to trams and cars when I managed to get her. Never been so petrified. Had to go back to said staff member to get my smartcard but she wanted me to buy a ticket despite me showing her confirmation of monthly pass
