@DKShivakumar @MALimbavali Can we know the reason for the delay in road work from Doddakannelli - Chikkanayakanahalli, this road was done with pooja in the month of August but till date we didn’t see any work starting.

If Govt is not able to do the road then so we residents plan to make the road by ourselves? If yes then please give permission and also a letter stating we will be exempted from property tax.

As per my RTI this road work is carried under MLA Grants, but no update on the work and contractor details.

Doddamara Road is finally tarred end-to-end! Thank you, @chairmanbwssb, for handling the jobs of multiple departments (PWD, Panchayaths, MLA office...). A special mention to @osd_cmkarnataka, ma’am, for spearheading! It's a big win for us citizens' group! Many people might think, what’s special about a 4-5km tarred road? Well, when your road is divided between two constituencies ruled by two different parties, when you are a part of the extremities of BBMP border, when you fall under Panchayath, when you are a minority in the vote bank, and when the road is not tarred for more than 6 years, this becomes special! This is the same road for which one of our volunteers, @arif2299, took 2.7 lakh to fill the potholes! In fact, this road has been covered more than 20 times by all leading newspapers of Bengaluru. We are thankful to honest ground reporters! We know the quality of this road is not top class, and it won't last long! This concerns Radha Reddy Layout Road in Halanayakanahalli, Sarjapur Road, in close proximity to the Wipro HQ. Regrettably, this road has remained in a state of disrepair for an extended period. We kindly request your immediate attention and assistance.

We have already reached out to the MLA @MALimbavali's office for support, but they have expressed their inability to undertake repairs due to a shortage of funds. Therefore, we kindly implore you to consider allocating resources and facilitating the much-needed repair of this road.

Let me tell you about the curious case of Bengaluru. The attached picture is from Bengaluru—a road that has not been relayed in the last 8 years and lacks a drainage system. This place is 5 km from the Infosys Headquarters, 3 km from the Wipro Headquarters, 1 km from the Central Jail, and 18 km from Vidhana Soudha. It's perplexing why the government ignores these areas. The road is currently being relayed by BWSSB, but progress is slow. PWD officials claim they don't have the funds to establish a drainage system. Can you believe that Karnataka doesn't have the funds to construct a 3 km drainage system? @siddaramaiah @DKShivakumar @osd_cmkarnataka, we did not vote for you for this day!

This is a similar story for most parts of Bengaluru beyond the Central Bengaluru District.
