Most middle class people say this is taxation without representation. Even if they have Aadhaar cards, PAN cards &
Passports they still don’t have a right to vote.
The fact that so many of us have received notices from the EC proves that the govt & its stooges believe that when it comes to robbing us blind with taxes the government regards us as Indians
But when it comes to choosing politicians at elections we are foreigners until we prove otherwise.
And then passports, PAN cards & Aadhar cards are suddenly not enough to prove we are Indian.

Projects of this scale will put Mangaluru on the global tourism map, make the world look at our city with wonder, and significantly boost local employment, trade and business.

The approval of this landmark project through the Cabinet meeting is yet another testament to the priority our government gives to the development of the coastal region.

ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಇತಿಹಾಸವಿರುವ ಪಂಚ ದ್ರಾವಿಡ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲೊಂದಾದ ತುಳು ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು, ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎರಡನೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಆಡಳಿತ ಭಾಷೆಯೆಂದು(ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಅನ್ವಯವಾಗುವಂತೆ) ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಜನರ ದಶಕಗಳ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈಡೇರಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತುಳುವರಿಗೂ, ಭಾಷಾ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು. ಇದು ತುಳು ಭಾಷೆಯ ಮಹತ್ತತೆಗೆ ಸಂದ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಜಯ.

Pourakarmikas and waste pickers have poor work ethic?!

1. Are Pourakarmikas the real problem. Or the contractors who employ them?

2. They are cleaning with their bare hands !! Not a single one is wearing gloves, boots. Nor do they have any tools to gather the waste. A broken wooden piece is being used to gather. @BECCUPDATES has kept aside Rs 1.5 crores for PPE kits for its 1000+ PKs in the Corporation. Have they been distributed? Is anyone getting gloves and boots?

3. Are they being paid on time? DWCC operators in Bangalore are waiting for payments for more than 2 years. Will you work if you don’t get paid for 2 years?

Suddenly, my father's airtel sim is dead.

I asked Airtel showroom to change the sim.

Airtel told me to bring your father to Airtel Showroom.
My father can't walk even 1 feet, he is 66, completely bed ridden.

It is mental torture and harassment by Airtel.

We can't activate the number which is linked to ITR, Aadhar, PAN card.

We all know Arun Lal’s voice from the commentary.

But very few people know what he did for the son of his family’s laundryman. 🙏

This boy grew up on a pavement in Kolkata.

Arun Lal and his wife started helping him with his education.

What began as English lessons slowly became something much bigger.

They supported his studies, guided him through his career and eventually treated him like their own son. ❤️

That boy was Bikash Chowdhury.

He went on to study at IIM Calcutta, work for Deutsche Bank and Credit Agricole, and eventually become a senior executive at JSW Steel. 😲

Bikash has said he has “two sets of parents” …his biological parents and Arun Lal and his wife.

Millions knew former Indian cricketer Arun Lal as the voice they heard on television….

One laundry boy knew him as the man who changed his life forever. ♥️
