MEA needs a less clichéd and more serious script for the PM's visits abroad, one where he engages with his hosts on substantive issues, rather than his own accompanying troupe and Indians settled abroad.
This photo would attract more talent to our army than all campaigns. I believe no action should be taken against the officer. Infact this is the kind of thing we should officially do to attract current generation into defence.
Ridham Desai is a senior leader in a big firm. I am sure he has a high paying job and his Bonus component would be hefty too. His articulation is really good, English vocabulary is leagues ahead of many non-Elite-school average Indians like us.
But none of this gives him the right to throw random numbers at people. I made a collage of his/MS’s earlier predictions. How can you keep making such random claims and yet, get away?
How does Morgan Stanley allow this to happen?
@Dev_Fadnavis is India's most urban-oriented CM, besides CBN. Even he cant fix Mumbai's roads and footpaths, it is that hard an issue to fix it seems;)
#WATCH | Ranchi, Jharkhand | A class 12th student, Sarthak Sidhant, says, “…I have written a blog that compares the tender documents of CBSE. I have uploaded and published it… There were at least 15 discrepancies, as per my blog. I would like to highlight three or four of them. Let me give a background about Coempt. It was known as Globarena, and they have a very shady background. 23 students killed themselves because of coempt… Now, I would like to tell you about RFP (Request for Proposal). What happens is the government issues a tender and asks the bidder to bid for it. CBSE issued this tender three times… I have compared the old RFP and the new RFP, and I found some discrepancies… The first discrepancy is that there were three clauses of poor performances which was completely wiped out from the new RFP. In the earlier RFP, there was a clause called blacklisted earlier, whereas in the new RFP, it was changed to blacklisted currently. Why would the board want a service provider which was blacklisted earlier? The third thing I found out is the 50 crore limit, which you needed to qualify, and coempt qualified that by 1.7% … The time frame of corrupt practices was halved, and there were project criteria changes… It shows a pattern that the industry giant TCS was not preferred, but coempt was preferred, which works as a very fragmented group of institutions…”
CM @DKShivakumar avare please review such stoppage of traffic for VIP movement. Police stop longer than necessary. Please do away with such VIP culture in city . @CPBlr@DgpKarnataka@Nimmabhaskar22 Police are very rude to citizens too and push them around. Citizens should be treated with respect. We are not subjects. I was abused by a SP earlier opp Raj Bhavan some time ago. This bad culture of abuse has to change. @AmitShah
Okay, let's settle the debate
A falling INR hurts you:-
1) You travel abroad/want to send kids abroad.
2) You use petrol/diesel or import business.
3) You save in FDs/Indian stocks. Your real buying power erodes globally.
A falling INR helps you:-
1) If you sell stuff to Americans/foreigners.
2) If your jobs pays you in USD.
3) If you are a NRI (you can buy Indian assets cheaper).
It doesn't matter to you:-
1) If you are a freebie loader.
2) Bhakt.
3) Idiot.
“Taang tod doonga. 10 baje ke baad kitchen kholi toh dekh lena.”
The story starts again. Same pattern.
Police walk in and shut us down.
Refuse to take a complaint.
We employ 15 people per kitchen.
Jobs now at risk because we won’t pay a bribe.
Police that should protect us are hurting us.

@KanwalSibal Sir, your apology sounds like sour grapes.
The fact is India has been trying to isolate Pakistan. This specific crisis was god-sent for us to demonstrate Indian soft power as we have good relations with both Israel and Iran, and yet here we are - Pakistan hosting the mediation.
This is exactly why cleanliness in India struggles, not because systems don’t exist, but because accountability doesn’t.
A railway staff member in Sdah–Ajmer SF Express (12987) casually throwing garbage out of a moving train, and then justifying it?
This isn’t ignorance, it’s arrogance.
If those responsible for maintaining public spaces themselves treat the country like a dustbin, what message does it send to citizens?
Strict action must be taken.
Not warnings, not transfers… real consequences.

Fix the mindset before preaching “Swachh Bharat.”
Development Claims vs Reality: Broken Roads Outside Premier Institute
The road quality here is extremely poor and completely unacceptable, especially for such a prominent location. Instead of a proper black-topped surface, the stretch is filled with loose stones, broken patches, and uneven mud. There is barely any proper paving visible, making the entire road difficult and unsafe to drive on.The amount of dust in this area is alarming. Every passing vehicle lifts clouds of dust into the air, creating serious discomfort for commuters, pedestrians, and nearby residents. This not only reduces visibility but also poses health risks, particularly for people with respiratory issues. It is shocking that a road in such a key area has been left in this neglected condition. The surface is uneven, poorly maintained, and clearly ignored by the authorities. Daily commuters are forced to navigate through this mess, risking damage to their vehicles and their own safety.
This reflects a complete lack of accountability and planning. Basic road infrastructure is not a luxury it is a necessity. When roads near important institutions are in such a state, it raises serious questions about maintenance standards across the city. Immediate action is needed to properly repair and restore this stretch before it leads to accidents or further deterioration.

IRAN TO PRESIDENT TRUMP:
“You struck our hospitals, we did not do the same. You struck our emergency centers, we did not do the same. You struck our schools, we did not do the same. But if you strike electricity, we will strike electricity.”
