Lived in the West Village, some of the highest rents in NYC. Worked on the Upper East Side, most expensive to buy, many beautiful brownstones.

People want to live in residential neighborhoods, idk if there are even many places to live on canal street. It’s all businesses and gross vendors. Tourist trap.
