Haifa wasn’t the first person to post that fake disclaimer about OPay. Hers simply went viral, so a lot of people didn’t see the others.

Secondly, she deleted the post and apologised after OPay asked her to do so.

So why is she being arrested?

She needs a good lawyer, and I genuinely hope she gets the legal support she needs to come out of this mess.

And to those Muslims celebrating someone’s misfortune, I just hope I won’t see you preaching “Islam this, Islam that,” because you and I know that celebrating another person’s suffering is not what Islam taught us.
