Work is progressing well on Aberdeen’s first purpose-built complex care accommodation provision. The £4million development at Stoneywood Road will deliver homes for eight people with complex care needs, offering care around the clock.
Highlight of the week:
Presenting at an event at Aberdeenshire Council’s Woodhill House, welcoming a large audience from NHSG, City, Shire and Moray HSCPs and Local Authorities.
Great to further develop the network involved with hospital discharge and accommodation.
I’m taking part in the Ribbon Run for Sands and raising money for a cause close to my heart. I would love your support! £20 could provide a bereaved family with a memory box to help create and keep safe precious and lasting memories of their baby. https://t.co/LkCzBwOe3o
Starting a brand new role this week in Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership, focussing on delayed/complex discharges and transfers of care across City acute and care settings. If you are keen to talk then let me know!
For my dissertation I’m creating a tool to improve care for autistic children & their families when visiting hospital. If you have visited A&E or been an inpatient with your autistic child what would have improved your stay? Would do you want us to know? #Autism#StudentNurse
