@KMrwol@the3rdjp Bro idk how you have the whole wide internet of sources of inspiration and you settle on a bit this tired.
I don’t believe you believe this with your GoW ass profile pic. Just delete and start another account and maybe get a little creative with your bait. Embarrassing.
@lesbiaudrey@Slabgorb idk, the game was a big target of cringe culture from 2015-18, and really did feel like it might just slip out of relevance. However, then it did come back in a big way in 2019 and it hasn’t exactly gone away.
Yet it still feels like the film is late for the second wave.
@wenbbilliams I mean we did establish in Wild Blue Yonder that time can be altered now by the whole Mavity bit.
I just assumed this was codifying it by establishing the “butterfly compensation circuit” as an explanation for why it doesn’t always happen.
@GentlemanRascal Gut instinct would be to ask first but this seems like a major overreaction.
People like your food and want to eat it. That is broadly speaking a compliment
@GroaningDOOD@ZinniaSnow@AbulurdBoniface@woofknight No, in the UK at least, we all grew up on Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe as a classic children’s story which then got made into a blockbuster film. Everyone knew it.
The other Narnia stories, people are much less likely to know about, but TLTWTW is pretty universal.
@ThomasEvansAdur@HughRBrechin I can see how unbothered you are. It shows in the location tag, and the fact that you recorded a whole video to prove you are not Russian.
@ThomasEvansAdur@HughRBrechin Your sentence was grammatically poor, and they were insinuating it was a result of poor translation from Russian to English. In essence, they were calling you a Russian bot in a novel way.
@Yelix Idk, at the time it definitely sank in at that moment that “Oh, this is getting worryingly complacent.”
The moment I realised he could actually win it was Lin Manuel Miranda’s SNL opening. He actually repeated the “he’s never gonna be president now” refrain. My blood ran cold.
@spybrary@ShippersUnbound I would have just assumed this was a spam ad if I hadn’t noticed @ShippersUnbound was retweeting it.
Really not worth the trade-off in cost imo, it looks unprofessional.
@kaosulogic It’s 2011 and you really like urban legends and creepypastas but only the ones about gaming and anime because you’re worried ones about the real world would scare you too much
