@hot2ndcounselor I have only sisters, but that rule was enforced by my step mom when I was a teenager. Part of me knew it was weird and I hated it. But I lived in Mormonville, Utah and it was the general consensus.

Retelling it in therapy years later was therapeutic though. You're not alone!
