I learned how to create a course on Canvas using the EXCEL model. I explored different tools to incorporate into lessons to make lessons engaging and effective. I learned that I love the studio feature in Canvas! #EDUC407

With Covid around, the thought of being a teacher within a year used to make me nervous, but within a couple months of taking #EDUC407, I feel way more confident! I have learned so much about creating my own online classroom with Canvas. Now if school is online, I'll be ready.

@ZandersMckenna That's really awesome that your high school math teacher really cared about you. I always struggled with math but most of my teachers were just concerned with teaching the content and not helping their students understand. I think it's awesome when teachers actually care.

A6: Being a connected educator is very important. It allows us educators to share our classroom ideas and also see other educator's ideas. Social media can also help us stay connected with our student's parents, which I believe is very important.

A5: As a child, I was very shy and would not talk to anyone besides my close friends. My kindergarten teacher had the biggest impact on me. She was very patient and accepting of me and by the end of the year, I was finally talking to my teacher! #ISUci454

A4: I follow Iowa State's CTLT Twitter page. I think others should follow this page as well to see all the cool things that our peers are working on and technology-related events happening at ISU. #ISUci454
