@osasuo Oyinbos fire rifles with telescopic sights while Africans still fire shakabulas. That was evident in the Germany vs Ivory Coast match yesterday. We simply must become more cold blooded with the final ball.
@LearnOTA4Life@MasterBolaji Correct. Even if Nigeria produces 100 million litres of petrol a day, NNPC and the greedy thieves that hold Nigeria hostage will continue to demand importation of petrol.
@DangoteGroup This is the right message. Local refining also creates jobs and contributes to a country’s GDP whereas importation doesn’t. If Nigerians want lower petrol prices they should ask the government to subsidise and provide incentives for local refining instead of allowing imports.
@onu_slim European refineries must be happy that Nigerians are trying to sabotage their only functioning refinery. Do you think that if Dangote is European, his fellow countrymen will be crying monopoly and asking for imports from Africa? It’s like we prefer being economic slaves.
My drunkard neighbour has 3 shops with empty shelves. I have a well stocked shop with customers coming everyday and he is accusing me of being a monopolist. It is well.
@FinPlanKaluAja1 So far on this post, nobody has been able to confirm with reliable data whether imported petrol at current international benchmark prices is cheaper than locally produced Dangote petrol. Hello?
@osasuo Dangote is fast becoming Africa’s Rockefeller and Carnegie rolled into one. The planned refinery in Kenya is just a stepping stone to supplying South East Asia with competitively priced refined petroleum products. The man has extraordinary business vision.
